Recently my friends at Vega sent me a TON of nutritious, tasty, products to try. I swear by Vega. Vega allows me to maintain a healthy vegan lifestyle.

& Vega spoiled me with scrumptious new VEGA ‘protein smoothie’ in Vanilla flavour. I decided to create the BEST, ‘tastes like cake’ Vanilla smoothie EVER.

Here is How to Make the Best Tasting Vanilla Vega Protein Smoothie EVER:
You will need: Blender or VITAmix – ADD Vega Vanilla Protein, Almond Milk, Almonds, 88% Cacao Dark Chocolate, Ground Flaxseed, Banana, Strawberries and Pineapple, Fresh Ginger
1. Start with plant-based VEGA Vanilla Protein Smoothie Powder (Available at Shoppers Drugmart & select Sobey’s)
2. In the Blender : Combine 2 scoops of Vega Vanilla Protein Smoothie with 1 cup each of strawberry and pineapple. Throw in a banana, and a handful of almonds. Add 2 and a half tablespoons of Ground Flaxseed Meal, along with half of a bar of 88% dark chocolate. I prefer Endangered Species Chocolate. Add a generous amount of ginger!
Add 2 cups of Silk Original Almond Milk.
OPTIONAL: ADD ICE if you want a cool, refreshing kick to the smoothie. For a cake-like consistency, skip the ice altogether.
Blend on high for one minute.
