Comment your Resolutions!
Can we quit plastic use already? ![](https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/fcb/1/16/1f641.png)
I think my “NY Resolution” will be to re-use or not buy/toss any more plastic than I already have starting now.
In 2018 I am going to make a point to highlight companies who get it, too.
Tell me your 2018 goals in the comments!
Straws are the new ‘cigarettes’! When I see one in 2018, it’s high time I recoil at the horror of the thing. How dare we continue to make and patronize non biodegradable products and throw away plastic after one single use?
I aim to be fully conscious of my plastic consumption from NOW on.
Sometimes we can re-use plastic instead of throw it away. Example is my HEMP Protein containers can be re-used as storage. This guy turns his plastic back into oil. 1 kg of plastic burned releases around 3 kg of CO2. Not saying I am going to significantly up my carbon footprint over this – but in my humble opinion a little carbon is better than wiping out another species due to oceanic plastic saturation.
Less plastic = more trees. We can heal the planet.
Just thought about the plastic laundry detergent thing. It’s bulky and I don’t want that around after it’s done. What will I do with it? This resolution is already sounding extremely crazy.
What is even crazier than this silly New Years Resolution I have?
Displacing and impacting wildlife on the planet we live on.
SOUND OFF!
Can we quit plastic use already?
