A Slow Awakening: A Life Searching for Meaning
For years, I was asleep— Sure, I traveled the world, from the sun-soaked beaches of Costa Rica to the vibrant streets of New York City, seeking experiences. I thought adventure, success, or the next big moment would be enough.
But no matter how far I roamed or how much I achieved, I was spiritually blind to the truth. Like so many, I knew God had a plan for me. When I listened to my gut my life really unfolded. I started my family and the rest is history!
God doesn’t let His children wander forever.
My awakening began with a whisper—sort of like getting red pilled. It didn’t happen all at once. It wasn’t until a friend halfway across the world really saved me. She truly opened my eyes to the physical truth of God. I began questioning everything!
The Moment Jesus Found Me
I’d been reading about faith, scrolling through posts on X about people sharing their testimony and I realized ancient civilizations had a ton of knowledge about our Creator and Universe. It’s so important to read the bible!
Once my eyes were truly open to the creation story, the firmament and the true nature of this world (flat face) and what evil worldly forces are hiding from us, there was a transformation. I was no longer the same person.
The Peace of Knowing Jesus
Since that moment, my life has never been the same. Accepting Jesus brought me a peace that anchors me, no matter the storm. I carry His presence with me. It’s a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, wealth, or status—it’s rooted in the unshakable truth of God’s love.This transformation changed how I live, how I travel, and how I see the world. Charlie Kirk’s untimely, horrific death is heartbreaking. I was so honored when Charlie followed me on X and shared Christian Nationalist views. It’s tough enough living in Canada so it was super to have his support. His death inspired me to share the eternal hope of Christ. Charlie is right! Get married, start families.
My travels have taken on new meaning—like in the quiet beauty of Florida Keys I see God’s hand everywhere.
Why You Need Jesus Too
Friends, I’m not here to lecture you—I’m here to testify. The world is loud, chaotic, and pulling you in a thousand directions. But Jesus offers something better: truth, purpose, and peace. If you’re feeling lost, empty, or just curious, I urge you to seek Him. Start small—read the bible pray, or explore resources like Focus on the Family or Desiring God for biblical wisdom that speaks to the heart.You don’t have to have it all figured out. My awakening was slow, but Jesus was patient. He’s patient with you too!
Living for Jesus in a Broken World
Charlie Kirk’s disturbing assassination is utterly traumatic. The world is broken—sin is real, and satan is always prowling. But with Jesus, you have a strength that’s greater than any challenge. In Christ, face any issue with confidence, knowing He’s already won the victory. I share this message because I can’t stay silent. Like Charlie Kirk, I believe we’re called to stand boldly for truth, to share the Gospel unapologetically, and to live with purpose.
