Friday at the Hub saw Serena Ryder and K-OS play to a packed David Pecault Square as Luminato 2013 kicked off opening night. I proudly represented L’Oreal Professonnel during opening weekend at Luminato. Guests were treated to hair makeovers from L’Oreal Professonnel Stylists. Products for purchase, samples and giveaways meant attendees took home a lot of hair care goodies. The opening night party was sponsored by Yves St Laurent.

This year Luminato created a unique light show at the Hub consisting of a giant suspended disco ball hovering over the square. In action it looked spectacular!
Saturday at the Hub was gorgeous! We enjoyed sunshine and concerts all day long. My favorite performer from Saturday was Sarah Harmer.
Sunday was equally as exciting: I represented L’Oreal Paris at their Nail Boutique on King Street at the TIFF BELL Lightbox entrance.

Here’s HOW TO GET THE LOOK:
Always start with a fresh face! We began by washing my face and hair in preparation for makeup application.
Stefania applied a primer with clean hands to begin the look. The primer is called Pro Professional from Benefit.
Concealer is applied. Concealer is Makeup Forever.
Next is eyebrows. Eyebrows frame your face. Brow is Chanel.
Primer goes on the eyelid, and then we start with the shadows.
After the eyes, Stefania uses Foundation and finishes with a powder to set the makeup.
She uses light pink lips and noted that it is considered a very sexy look to have a dark, smoky eye and nude lips.
After my hair dried Stefania used a straightening iron to make soft waves throughout my hair.
Everyone loved our looks. Fabulous!

Summer is here! One of the greatest feelings is being fresh faced and enjoying outdoor activities in the sunshine!
Here are my best tips for Glowing Summer Skin:
1. ALWAYS wear spf 60 on your face, hands, neck and chest. This prevents aging and wrinkles where it matters most.
2. After every application of sunscreen or oil, – exfoliate after cleansing. Lotions and sticky sunscreens wreck havoc on your pores. Always scrub breakout prone areas with an exfoliating scrub. Vichy or Proactiv has gentle facewashes which can be used multiple times daily.
3. Flaxseed – Ground Flaxseed added to cereal or a shake in the morning will make your skin glow.
4. Drink Water! Drink extra water in the summer time. Aim for 3-4 litres a day at least!
5. Resist the urge to touch your skin. Ever. Keep your fingers away from face, chest, back, always!
7. Take extra care of yourself! If you sweat, hit the shower ASAP!
8. Watch what you eat. Diet is important. Cut sweets, meat, and dairy to ensure your skin is perfect.

9. Relax your face! Practice relaxing your face more often. This will minimize frown lines. I have done this for years.
10. Remove makeup every single night before bed! Washing your face before bed should be a bedtime ritual!
Remember: Sometimes skin does what it wants! No one ever has “perfect skin” 
These tips are meant to help you better manage the beautiful skin you’re in!

Most of the Fall 2013 Collection from MATIS by Lucian Matis was printed head to toe with feminine florals and grayscale graphics. The silhouette of choice was the dress, both long and short, and each look was topped off with a delicate piece of jewelry. The designer added in some of Fall’s key colors with black, navy, and a deep, dark red”. Another exciting show was Laura Siegel. I could really see myself wearing her designs. For Siegel, Fall is undled up in shades of rust, charcoal, and ivory prevailed. Soft fabrics made the whole collection fall “cozy”. World Mastercard Fashion Week is well underway at David Pecaut Square in the heart of downtown Toronto and I bring you coverage from the past couple days alongside Canada’s most coveted Catwalk. Designer Christopher Bates hosted his runway show in a sharp tuxedo. Ashtiani designer Golnaz Ashtiani continued the trend of mixing fabrics, combining traditional velvets, mohair and silk organza into pieces. Her pieces were each made with more than one fabric. Lucian Matis presented his expansive ready-to-wear collection Matis, punctuated with colorful, artsy, and floral designs. Day 3 also saw the City of Light illuminating the latest looks from Joe Fresh. Joe Fresh has effortlessly and effectively incorporated Parisian chic into affordable apparel. Headscarf-sporting models donned two-piece knit sets, sheer, ruffled silk tops, polka dot blouses, sequinned designs, and pleated skirts. The fashion environment is a frenzy of familiar faces sporting beautiful colors and dapper designs.

Maybelline has a sleek setup in the heart of the fashion environment at World Mastercard Fashion Week. The Fashion Environment is a frenzy of fabulous familiar faces and beautiful designs. I truly believe fashion is an expression of one’s self! Fashion is meant to be unique and fun. Maybelline is showcasing their new Rocket Volume Express Mascara which boasts “Explosive Volume in Rocket Time! 8X Bigger, Smoother, [lashes]”. Guests at Fashion week are treated to Maybelline’s Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Gel Shadow. The hottest trends in lips include VIVID color for Fall 2013. All week long I have been sporting colors from Maybelline’s Vivid lip color line. Today I wore Vibrant Mandarine and Vivid Rose.
