Thursday April 11th was a seriously eventful day. I woke up to A National Spread in the Toronto SUN to commemorate Green Day’s 99 Revelations Tour Stop in Toronto, and I attended their sold out concert at Air Canada Center later that night. This tour was launched in support of the band’s trilogy, ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! and originally titled the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! Tour. Green Day played a solid set, mixing old songs with new songs. At one point Billie Joe Armstrong asked the crowd what they wanted to hear, “We’ll play anything you guys want … ” he teased. Stopping the show to carry out some hijinks, Billie Joe Armstrong brought out a giant water gun and sprayed the pit. I was so lucky to be in the second row center stage. By the end of the night I was hanging over the railing, where I managed to catch Tre Cool’s drum stick and one of Billie Joe Armstrong’s guitar picks.
So awesome. Check out a few of my own personal photos: Jack Boland shot the sunshine girl spread which ran Nationally Thursday April 11th. I made sure to be home early after the Green Day Concert for my interview with 100.5 KRUZ FM which aired online and in my hometown Peterborough Ontario early Friday morning for everyone up early enough to hear it at 7:20AM. Pete and Catherine interviewed me about my modeling career while offering a congratulatory message for my recent publicity. The Tagline on my National Spread read:
” SUNshine Girl Theresa is a Canadian international model and proud Green Day supporter. She comes to us hot off modelling at Fashion Week. Along with her modelling, she is pursuing simultaneous careers in the arts and music. ” Photos by Jack Boland, (QMI).
