These travel tips will ensure your trip is easygoing and organized! The best travel tips are here. I have mastered the art of stress-free travel. Follow the travel tips here to boost your suitcase strategy, & learn what you must do in the days leading up to your flight. Perfectly prepare your travel plan.
Here are my best travel tips:
BEST TRAVEL TIP: BRING A SNACK
Be smart about how you eat during your travels. You may find yourself waiting around at times during your travels. Pack protein bars, fruit, greens, and bite size snacks in your carry on to keep you fuelled – especially during a long flight.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: BRING ENTERTAINMENT
Remember to pack books, electronics, headphones, chargers, or work to do if you are a work-a-holic like me. If you want to know exactly how I smartly pack my carry on … Click Here. Charge all your devices 100% before you leave the house.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: STAY HYDRATED
It is extra important in the days leading up to a flight to drink more water than you normally would. Flying, altitude changes, and the airport rush will be much more manageable when you are well hydrated. Also a great idea to continue to drink additional amounts of water in the days after your flight as your body will still be adjusting to the changes in your surrounding. Many travel blogs tout positive benefits of upping your water intake before a flight as a means to combat jet lag. Drinking a ton of water is said to minimize the effects of jet lag.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: PLAN AHEAD
Arrange your ride. Find out what terminal you need to be at. Know your flight time. Check in Early (Many airlines allow online check in 24 prior to boarding; allowing you to choose the seat you want.) Have your boarding pass emailed to your phone or print it early once you’ve checked in online. Check the weather in advance when it comes to your arrival and departure city.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: TRAVEL LIGHT
Many times I travel solely with my carry on if I can get away with it. I make sure I have travel size gels and liquids. Traveling light is by far one of my best travel tips. Be honest with yourself when you are packing – if what you are packing isn’t a necessity … ditch it.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: BE AIRPORT SAVVY
Know possible shortcuts. Use charging stations. Access the airport wi-fi. Give yourself enough time. Keep documents safe always.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: MAKE A LIST
Before you begin packing, always run though your trip to create a list of things you need – this will ensure you don’t miss any much needed items.
BEST TRAVEL TIP: STAY RELAXED
Keep yourself busy and enjoy your travel time. Traveling is fun. When you plan ahead and leave enough time you will have a happy journey! One final tip: Amp up your itunes game and travel with good music!
