As someone who geeks over aerodynamic wizardry, I was hooked before I even touched the door handle. Pininfarina are the legends behind icons like the Ferrari Testarossa. They infused the VF8 with that same sensual aggression: a low-slung profile, LED accents that slice through the night, and power with curves that make you forget you’re in a family hauler.
Slide behind the wheel, and the VF8 unleashes a performance pedigree that rivals any EV out there. With dual motors pumping out up to 402 horsepower and all-wheel drive, it catapults from 0-60 mph in under 5.5 seconds in Plus trim. Love that EV feeling: instant torque twist the chassis like a live wire. The VF8? A STEP UP: Vinfast VF9
Now, if the VF8 is the sleek sports coupe of the duo, the VF9 is the grand tourer, bigger, bolder, a 7 seater built for epic family road trips without sacrificing thrill. As a mom who juggles car seats, surfboards, and spontaneous adventures, I crave space that doesn’t compromise. Enter the VF9: a three-row behemoth with room for seven, yet it shrinks the world with its 402-hp dual-motor setup, hitting 0-60 in a blistering 6.5 seconds. Yeah, you read that right, a full-size SUV that out-accelerates most sports sedans. She rips!
The VinFast VF9 is an all-electric three-row SUV with dual electric motors providing all-wheel drive (AWD). Its combined maximum torque output is 457 pound-feet (lb-ft). This applies to both available trims (Eco and Plus) for the 2025 model year.
Drawing from my handover sessions, where luxury meets utility, the VF9 elevates it: massage pilot seats offer many modes. Are you feeling like a “cat paw” massage or a knead mode?
